Software: Latest Update 49.51
To install the latest update for Build 49, you may click on the Software Update button, located on the Teacher Tab of the Expressways To Learning Menu. If the student computers do not have Internet access, you will need to download it separately and install it from a memory stick. To download the update separately,
First Time Installations
If you are installing the software for the first time and wish to use a flash drive rather than the original discs, you can include the update in the installation and save time. Just follow the steps below:
- Copy the files from the two CD-ROM discs or the DVD disc to the flash drive.
- Download the latest update using the link above.
- Copy this downloaded file (expupdate.exe) to the flash drive. This will replace the existing file by the same name.
- Now, when you run setup.exe from the flash drive, it should show the correct version number on the installation welcome screen. Previous versions of the CD-ROM discs will have setup1.exe and setup2.exe. The current version has just one installer, setup.exe.
- When the installer finishes, it will automatically apply the update on top of the installation.
